2014年10月17日から20日にかけて、中華人民共和国・青島に出張する。綺麗なホテルにこもっていても仕方がないので、明るい安全な時間を見計らって、街中をぶらついてみた。
目についたのは三輪車の多さ。小型のものはスクーター感覚で乗り回され、中型の働く自動車的なものも軽トラ感覚で見掛けることができた。青島のかなり粗い運転が目立つ交通事情と、凸凹している道路事情を考えると、二輪では危ない気がするし、荷物や人を荷台に乗せて運べる事を考えると、青島では非常に合理的な乗り物なのかもしれませんね。
流石に建材等を運搬する大型の三輪車は郊外でしか見掛けられませんでしたが、日本では消え失せた三輪車がここでは交通の一端を担っていました。 小型三輪車については、日本の自転車感覚で販売されていたのが印象的でしたね。

Large tricycle was only running the suburbs indeed, but tricycle not apparent in Japan, was responsible for the end of the traffic in Qingdao. Also It was impressive small tricycle is that had been sold in bicycle sense of Japan.
